Vaxis - Storm 3000 SDI & HDMI Wireless Set (1000m)

The Storm 3000 wireless video transmitter from Vaxis allows you to send visually lossless, uncompressed video signals to any Vaxis Storm receiver without delay. The device features a dual V-mount plate that allows you to attach it to the V-mount plate on your camera and mount a V-mount battery on the other side, powering both the transmitter and camera at the same time . The transmitter has an HDMI input, an SDI input and an SDI loop output and supports input up to 4K and 1080p60 video transmissions. The device also supports cross-conversion from HDMI input to SDI loop output.

The transmitter unit can be attached to a camera or other SDI/HDMI video source via a built-in 1/4"-20 thread. The included short antennas provide connectivity for short distances of a few hundred meters, while the larger whip antennas provide a powerful line-of- sight signal broadcast up to 1km. The transmitter also supports the transmission of timecode, metadata and timecode trigger information.

The Storm 3000 transmitter has 20 selectable 40 MHz channels and a 5.1 to 5.9 GHz wireless frequency range, and on the side is a bright LED display that shows connection status and channel information. The device can be powered via the 2-pin LEMO port using a D-Tap or AC source with a separately sold cable. A standard BNC cable is included so you can connect the device straight out of the box.
