The SWIT S-2041F LED On-Camera Light adopts the chip-array LED technology, which integrates the LEDs into a chip providing bright but soft and non-glaring light. It comes with the S-7004F interchangeable battery plate, which is compatible with Sony NP-F970/770 and SWIT S-8972, S-8970, and S-8770 batteries. The cold shoe plate also can be taken off and fit for the screw thread. It also features a D-tap power connector and accepts power from standard DV battery or a slim battery.

The LED light offers a wide beam angle of 60° and an illumination of 1,200 lux at 3.3'. The amount of light output can be adjusted from 10 to 100% with an on-board dimmer. It provides an equivalent output of 100W at 5,000K color temperature with a power consumption of 23W. The color temperature can be switched to 5,600 or 3,200K by filters. It features a high-intensity glass fiber housing with a cooling vent.
