SmallRig Universal Holder for External SSD
The SmallRig Universal Mount for External SSDs is designed to mount an SSD to cameras such as Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K models. This spring loaded clamp extends on both sides and fits various SSDs such as Samsung T5 and T7 SSD, Angelbird SSD2go PKT, Glyph Atom SSD, SanDisk 1T SSD, G-Technology G-DRIVE Mobile SSD and more. It comes with a detachable cold shoe that can be attached to the bottom or side of the mount, allowing you to mount the SSD to a cold shoe adapter; or after removing, you can use 1/4" -20 screws to mount the holder, which is super flexible. The holder has soft protective rubber pads inside, which keeps the SSD firmly in the clamp and prevents scratches. Moreover, it comes with a cable clamp to secure the USB-C cable, fastened with a button screw, this SSD mount is compact and versatile for photographers and video shooters.
Remark:
- The SSD size that fits in the holder: width 38mm-60mm, thickness 5-15mm.
- The cable of the Angelbird SSD2go PKT is deep and tight in the port, so the USB-C cable clamp does not apply to this SSD and must be removed first.
