Let the Middle Remote control your gimbal and camera, in combination with our free Middle Control Software, from a single compact and professional PTZ remote! The Middle Remote allows you to adjust a variety of camera settings such as Pan / Tilt / Zoom / ISO, White Balance, Hue, Iris, Focus, Contrast, Saturation, White / Black Level... If you are using a Blackmagic Design ATEM then the values on the Middle Remote displays are synchronized from the ATEM, so your settings are always up-to-date!

The Middle Remote can be used for:

1. Blackmagic Design cameras controlled by an ATEM (Blackmagic ATEM is required in that scenario)
2. Blackmagic Design cameras and some DJI gimbals with the Middle Things APC-R. See APC-R compatibility for more information on supported gimbals and cameras.

Make Pro X Glue software (free) and Middle Control Software (free) are required to use the remote. Available on Mac OS (Big Sur or later) and Windows 10/11.

A very flexible modular approach

The remote control consists of button elements that can be exchanged and configured as you wish. This way the controller grows with you! Audio mixers, DMX lighting consoles, A/V automation, Middle Things Middle Control, these can all be controlled by the MakePro X Glue software which translates the Remote USB instructions into readable messages for these different ecosystems.

Thanks to this modular approach, not only can you dynamically assign almost any camera or gimbal action to any button, but you can also add more buttons/encoders or even motorized faders in a larger housing!

Depending on the configuration, you can assign different buttons to actions of individual devices. Why not assign one fader to the pan/tilt speed, another to an ATEM audio level and another to a Behringer X32 Mix Bus? The remote comes with sticker packs so you can customize the labels on the 4 RGB buttons depending on which action is configured.

The perfect companion for Middle Control Software

The Middle Control software is optimized to work very smoothly with the Middle Remote.

From the camera ID selection buttons to the camera settings (Iris, ISO, White Balance, Focus, Contrast, Saturation...), every function can be set with the remote control.

When you trigger an action on the Middle Remote, it's sent to the Glue software which sends it to Middle Control, which then translates it to the ATEM, Camera, and Gimbal. The Glue software allows you to configure the mapping on the remote.

Thanks to Middle Control's compatibility with Make Pro X Glue and Bitfocus Companion, you can expand the scope of your remote, with the only limit being your technical creativity!
