With its compact 1U rack design, the Fiber Dispatch converter fits perfectly into your existing video rack, allowing you to connect up to 5 cameras with the Fiber Camera Box. Built-in fans ensure proper cooling of all converters for a smooth workflow.

Made for efficiency and long-distance 4K

Have you ever had the time-consuming task of running two different SDI cables to a single camera, one for the input and one for the return feed? The Fiber Dispatch 5 merges each of these cable pairs into a single fiber optic cable, which is lighter and much more reliable than traditional copper BNC cables because it is immune to all electromagnetic interference. You can run your fiber optic cable for thousands of miles without a dropout.

Commonly used standard fiber optic connector

The Neutrik Optical ConDuo connector makes this converter compatible with both widely used LC/LC fiber cables and Neutrik’s robust Optical Con Advanced Duo & Duo Lite cables, designed for field use and harsh environments. The connector has a built-in auto-termination that protects the fiber cores when the cable is disconnected.

In combination with a Fiber Camera Box, a Fiber Unite or a Fiber Bridge, many configurations are possible that will greatly improve your daily multi-camera workflow!

The Fiber Dispatch 5 can be used with the Middle Things Fiber Camera Box 6G, Bridge 5, Bridge 10 and the Blackmagic Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G converter with 6G SFP modules.

It supports single mode LC optical fiber cables, as well as Neutrik OpticalCon Duo and OpticalCon Duo Lite cables.

Supported SDI video signals are 3G, 6G and 12G (max 2160p30 ).
