The Middle Things Fiber Bridge 5 splits a Neutrik opticalCON MTP 12 fiber cable into 5 different OpticalCON Duo pairs + LAN, and vice versa (bidirectional).

Stage box with bidirectional design

With the Fiber Bridge 5 you only have one cable running from the control room to the stage. On stage the Fiber Bridge 5 acts as a stage box that splits the Neutrik opticalCON MTP 12 fiber cable into 5 different OpticalCON Duo pairs + LAN. You can also use it the other way around and merge 5 OpticalCON Duo pairs + LAN into one single opticalCON MTP 12 fiber cable.

Can work without electricity

The Fiber Bridge is a passive splitter, meaning that it does not require power to operate. However, if you plan on using the LAN connection, you will need to supply +12V DC power via the DC jack.

Robust fiber connector

The opticalCON MTP 12 connector makes the Fiber Bridge compatible with Neutrik's robust opticalCON MTP 12 cables, designed for use in the field and harsh environments. The connector has a built-in automatic termination that protects the 12 fiber cores as soon as the cable is disconnected.

The Fiber Bridge 5 can be used with the Middle Things Fiber Unite 5, Bridge 5, Dispatch 5 and Fiber Camera Box. It supports single mode LC fiber optic cables and Neutrik OpticalCon Duo and OpticalCon Duo Lite cables. The MTP 12 connector supports MTP 12 cables from OpticalCon.
