Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmitter Set

The Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System includes a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, seven antennas, a USB-C adapter, a DC power adapter, and an adjustable shoe adapter mount.

The transmitter offers HDMI and SDI inputs and has an extremely low latency of 50 ms, allowing line-of-sight transmission up to a distance of 396 meters to the included receiver. When using broadcast mode with up to four receivers and two mobile devices, the system supports transmission up to a distance of 198 meters. The receiver has HDMI and SDI outputs.

Each Pyro S unit is equipped with a USB-C port that can power it and also supports plug-and-play UVC operation, so it can be seamlessly connected to a computer and the wireless video can be used for streaming and meeting applications. A built-in frequency scanner allows you to select the best frequency for your transmission. The Pyro S transmitter and receiver are equipped with a clear LCD screen for configuration. In addition to the multi-function USB-C port, each device can be powered with a separately sold lockable DC power adapter or an L-series battery using an optional battery plate.

Long distance, high quality

Pyro S Wi-Fi broadcast technology allows one transmitter to connect to four receivers, offering greater flexibility if there are additional monitoring needs on set. When broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can broadcast signals to up to four receivers and the line-of-sight range is 198 meters. When broadcast mode is disabled, the transmitter can broadcast signals to up to two receivers and two mobile devices and it is line-of-sight. -of-sight range up to 396 meters.

Robust signal strength

With a stable transmission range of up to 396 meters, the Pyro S has a latency of only 50ms. Compared to the Mars series, whose transmission range is longer at the expense of image quality and latency, the Pyro S excels by a longer transmission distance while maintaining video quality and minimal latency. The transmitter/receiver combo also offers two modes for users to switch the balance between image quality and latency, with HD mode for better image quality with a bitrate of up to 12 Mb/s and Smooth mode for a dynamic change in latency.

Smart channel scan

When starting up, Pyro S automatically selects a frequency channel with the best quality. Additionally, users can activate the smart channel scanning function on the receiver to get real-time feedback on frequency status, ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable experience.

Simple setting

The Pyro S supports preset groups and associations, eliminating the need for users to repeatedly manually set up the transmitter and receivers.

Continuous power, multiple options

In addition to DC input and NP-F batteries, the Pyro S also supports a USB-C power supply (5-12V). A USB power option offers convenience, especially when using gimbals, as it eliminates the need for larger NP-F batteries, reducing overall weight and improving maneuverability.
