JVC GY-HM250E 4K Camcorder

Do you want to record 4K Ultra HD, 4:2:2 Full HD, or stream to the web? The GY-HM250E can do it all! Its integrated 12x zoom lens and 4K CMOS sensor deliver razor-sharp Ultra HD images, which can be recorded directly on SDHC/SDXC memory cards. At the same time, it has advanced dual codec streaming technology. This camera also has a tele-macro mode to get objects in focus at a short distance and can display graphic titles at the bottom of the screen as well as across the entire screen.

1/2.3-inch 12.4M CMOS sensor

This camcorder is designed to record stunning, lifelike 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) video. JVC's own 4K CMOS sensor with 12.4M pixels is very light sensitive and performs excellently in different lighting conditions. Details are sharp and accurate across the entire image.

12x optical zoom and seamless 24x dynamic zoom

The ultra-high image quality starts with a sharp 12x optical zoom lens (F1.2-3.5, 35mm equivalent: 29.6-355mm). When recording in HD mode, the optical zoom can be combined with pixel mapping without loss of quality, creating a seamless 24x Dynamic zoom. This gives the camera a large zoom range while remaining very compact.

Full HD 4:2:2 recording at 50Mbps

The ability to record in H.264 4:2:2, 24-60P at 50Mbps makes this camera ideal for both broadcasting and production. The color accuracy of 4:2:2 ensures that the camera can deliver exceptional color resolution, even when there is high contrast between foreground and background. This is particularly useful when strong colors contrast with bright backgrounds, or when used on a green screen.

HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI output

This camcorder comes with a large number of professional connection options, including an HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI connection. This guarantees a reliable digital connection with external devices, such as a recorder or a switcher. Simultaneous use of the SDI and HDMI output is also possible!

Detachable handle unit with professional XLR audio

The detachable heavy-duty handle makes the camcorder easy to carry and also makes it simple to shoot from low angles, thanks to its built-in REC button with lock function, and zoom lever. XLR audio inputs are provided for the attachment of a professional microphone or for LINE input, complete with Phantom power supply capability.

Advanced IP network communication and live HD streaming

This camcorder features JVC's latest IP communications capabilities, allowing you to control and manage key camera and lens functions via a tablet, smartphone, or PC from anywhere in the world. Live streaming is possible in HD or SD resolutions, depending on the available bandwidth. Connect the camera to a Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE network, via an optional adapter, and share your programs with the whole world via a content delivery network such as YouTube, Facebook Live, or other Cloud services.
