Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G
Extend SDI connections over extremely long distances by switching to fiber!
Now you can massively extend SDI to distances of up to 10 miles! Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G converts SDI to fiber and fiber to SDI in both directions simultaneously, so it's like getting two converters in one. You can even use different video standards in each direction! The 12G-SDI connections are multi-rate, making it compatible with all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats and devices up to 2160p60, including Level A and B devices. The fiber connection allows you to install any standard 3G, 6G or 12G-SDI SFP fiber optic module, allowing you to transmit SDI using the same inexpensive fiber optic cables commonly used for computer networking. Plus, the included international power supply has a locking connector to prevent accidental disconnection!
