AJA OG-UDC - 3G-SDI Up, Down, Cross-Converter
OG-UDC is an openGear 10-bit broadcast quality up, down, cross-converter that bridges HD and SD video resolutions. The OG-UDC provides 3G-SDI input and output, HDMI output and two 3-pin terminal block connectors for analog audio outputs.
Designed for use in high density openGear 2RU frames including AJA’s OG-X-FR frame, DashBoard software support on Windows®, macOS® and Linux® offers remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture and provides convenient and industry standard configuration, monitoring and control options over a PC or local network.

AJA's powerful hardware conversion technology ensures the highest image quality for your productions. Key conversion features include:
- SD/HD up/down-conversion
- SD/SD aspect ratio conversion
- HD/HD cross-conversion (720p/1080i)
Up/down/cross-conversion with both the input and converted formats on SD/HD SDI outputs (both synchronized)
OG-UDC can up or down-convert between SD, HD, and 3G HD (1080p50/60), and cross-convert between HD formats including 3G HD.
openGear Compatibility
The openGear standard ensures that AJA cards will be compatible with other openGear products from certified openGear partners. With a growing list of products, openGear is the standard for professional rackframe solutions.
Flexible I/O
The modular rear panel allows custom I/O connections per card (included with individual cards).
Failsafe
The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure.
Ethernet Access
A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Ross DashBoard software application for overall frame communication. Optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame for advanced communication with compatible openGear cards.
DashBoard Software
Ross DashBoard software offers quick and convenient configuration of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
