Epiphan LiveScrypt
The Epiphan Video LiveScrypt is quick to set up and requires only a LAN connection to the Internet. It is a portable box that allows you to create highly accurate live transcription of video or audio for live events. The box sends the audio to the cloud where it is converted to text and sent back to the device for playback. Because LiveScrypt supports Google's core ASR languages, it supports a wide range of dialects and accents.

The Epiphan Video LiveScrypt is quick to set up and requires only a LAN connection to the Internet. It is a portable box that allows you to provide highly accurate live transcription of video or audio for live events. The box sends the audio to the cloud where it is converted to text and sent back to the device for playback. Since LiveScrypt supports Google's base languages for ASR, it supports a wide range of dialects and accents.
The LiveScrypt device features HDMI, SDI, and UVC video over USB with embedded audio, and analog audio input via XLR, 1/4″ phone, or RCA inputs. Text is displayed on the device’s 7″ LCD touchscreen and via HDMI output to audience-readable monitors. The touchscreen allows you to choose the background of the displayed text, adjust settings, and enable filters, such as the profanity filter.

- The device
Serves as the hub of the system, taking audio or video with audio, sending it over your network to the cloud, and then displaying the transcript of the spoken words in real time on the touchscreen LCDE or on a monitor connected to the HDMI output. Please note that while this is a hardware solution, it does require an hourly rate.
