Sony FX3 Camera Body (ILME-FX3)
The Sony FX3 has a compact design for solo filmmakers, vloggers and is the ideal B-camera. The Sony FX3 takes features from both the Cinema Line and Alpha series cameras to create an optimized portable cinema camera.
The FX3 has all the imaging features you'd expect from its class, but features a new lightweight, handheld form factor with a streamlined profile and ready-to-shoot design that offers the ability to attach a variety of accessories directly to the camera body.
Expressive UHD 4K video recording
The FX3's 12.1MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor (10.2MP effective in video mode) is paired with a BIONZ XR processor to capture UHD 4K video recording with internal 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling or 16-bit raw output.
The sensor's BSI design boosts clarity and sensitivity, with an expanded ISO range of 80-409600 and a dynamic range of over 15 stops. The S-Cinetone mode offers color and tone control and can and can even be matched with the Sony VENICE, FX9 or FX6. There is also support for S-Log3/2 gamut and 10-bit HLG for simple HDR productions.
The sensor and processor also work together to greatly reduce rolling shutter, and the sensor design incorporates a Fast Hybrid AF system for intelligent and fast focusing performance and subject tracking.
4K Full-Frame CMOS Exmor R sensor
A 12.1 MP Exmor R sensor and BIONZ XR processor give the FX3 a real cinema experience. The Full Frame sensor ensures a shallow depth of field, an impressive bokeh and fewer rolling shutter artifacts.
A base ISO of 80-102,400 can be expanded to an amazing 409,600 for impressive low-light shots. A dynamic range of more than 15 stops reproduces the nuances of both spectacular outdoor shots and carefully lit indoor scenes with ample room for color correction.
S-Cinetone color
The FX3's default S-Cinetone color setting creates beautiful skin tones and a softer look that complement your VENICE, FX9 or FX6 images.
S-Log-3, S-Gamut3, S-Gamut3.Cine and 10-bit 4:2:2 support allow the FX3 to match Sony Cinema Line cameras, while HLG HDR offers the option of direct HLG display without the need for grading.

Ergonomic shape for solo use

The clustered record button, focus and menu buttons, and six assignable buttons all help to enable one-handed operation. so you have your left hand free to balance the camera or operate your lens.
Easily visible status lights

You can also stream your content using your computer and the Imaging Edge Webcam app.
