The XF605 takes performance and control for solo shooters to a new level. It's a versatile video camera well-suited for the studio and the field with 15x optical zoom, professional connectivity and advanced autofocus featuring the first in the XF series AF Eye Detection and Intelligent Head Tracking.

Studio quality video footage
The large 1.0-type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor work together to deliver 4K UHD 60P/50P in 4:2:2 10-bit XF-AVC and MP4, as well as FHD 120P HFR for exceptional image quality and flexibility in the post-processing.

Professional look and handling
Process fine details with the 4K-capable L-series lens with 15x optical zoom and independent rings for zoom, focus and iris control. There are also three image stabilization modes, as well as built-in ND filters and infrared mode, for even more control.

Advanced autofocus
Focus on your subject's eyes with Eye Tracking AF* and intelligent head tracking via EOS iTR AF X, an innovative deep learning technology to track a subject's head even when looking away.

* Eye Tracking AF is also supported in S&F modes.

Professional connectivity and streaming
The XF605 integrates seamlessly into live and offline environments, with 12G-SDI, Wi-Fi and Ethernet for IP streaming. With the Content Transfer Mobile app, you can edit metadata that complies with NewsML-G2, transfer images to your iPhone and upload them directly to FTP servers.

Canon's XC Protocol for multi-camera control solutions and Frame.IO for collaborative network workflows are also supported.

Intuitive controls and customizations
Take control and customize the XF605 with independent controls and 11 assignable buttons. The improved touchscreen interface allows you to quickly and intuitively adjust on-screen settings, menu navigation and playback controls. A new multifunctional accessory shoe allows additional accessories to be connected for even more functionality.

Versatile shooting options
Capture a wider dynamic range in Canon Log 3 for flexibility in post-production or shoot instantly in PQ or HLG HDR file types for instant broadcasting. Simultaneous recording to two SD cards in different formats (incl. All-I and Long GOP) offers maximum flexibility for your production needs.

Content Transfer Mobile App
Content Transfer Mobile is an app for iPhone designed to edit metadata before and after recordings that conform to the NewsML-G2 standard. The app also offers the ability to import footage from the camera to the phone, including direct transfer to FTP servers.

Shared color science
The XF605 supports the same color matrixes as the Canon Cinema EOS and EOS R systems, reducing the time it takes for post-processing to match colors in images from multiple camera series.

Durable and light
With its remarkably compact dimensions and body weight of approximately 2010 g, the XF605 is the perfect 'hand luggage'. Despite its small size, it is a very capable video camera with a durable dust-resistant and moisture-resistant design.
