Epiphan AV.io 4K USB Video Capture
Transfer a 4K HDMI video signal to your computer with the rugged and compact Epiphan AV.io 4K Video Grabber.
This sleek capture device features an HDMI input and USB 3.0 output. It supports up to 4096 x 2160 (DCI 4K) resolution on the input and allows you to maintain, increase or decrease the resolution on the output. Connect cameras, mobile devices, home entertainment devices and other HDMI sources and send the content with audio, uncompressed and without delay to your computer.
The AV.io 4K is a UVC device that appears as a webcam on your computer. As a UVC device, it is designed to integrate with recording software on your computer, and is seamlessly compatible with all popular recording software including Wirecast, Skype, QuickTime, Adobe FMLE, VLC media player, Windows Camera, and any conferencing software. The captured data can be used for various purposes, such as high-end streaming, webcam applications that require higher image quality than standard webcams can provide, and for recording, such as when a doctor needs to capture an ultrasound.
The AV.io 4K automatically detects Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, making integration simple. The USB 3.0 output is compatible with USB 2.0, but a USB 2.0 port limits the maximum frame rate and resolution supported.
The AV.io 4K is built to last, with a metal exterior that’s strong enough to withstand drops and kicks. The Grabber comes with a 3ft HDMI cable and a 3ft USB 3.0 cable, so you can get started right away.
