Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Mini

The most compact model of the HyperDeck Studio is based on the Teranex Mini form factor. This modular design means that you can use a Teranex Mini Rack Shelf to mount 3 HyperDeck Studio HD Minis in a single rack unit, or you can combine them with other products such as switchers, converters or streaming processors. It may be small, but you still get powerful features such as 3G-SDI in and out, HDMI output, dual SD card media slots, built-in sync and timecode generators, front panel controls and both AC and DC power inputs. You can even connect the USB to a computer because the HyperDeck Studio HD Mini works as a webcam, so you can use any video software you want!

The 1 RU high recorder is 1/3 rack wide and is powered by 100 to 240 VAC, or via an optional 12 VDC power supply for portability. With one 3G-SDI input, one HDMI and 3G-SDI output, and a USB Type-C webcam output, the recorder is flexible and allows you to input, record, and output/stream simultaneously. This unit supports both reference and timecode in/out, making it a perfect fit for a broadcast environment. You can use one recorder to capture ISO from each camera with perfect synchronization for live and post production work.

Dual SD card slots let you record with virtually unlimited recording time, and the unit also supports recording to USB drives via its USB Type-C output port. The HyperDeck Studio HD Mini has a front-panel knob control and a jog/shuttle wheel for an analog scrub feel. RS-422 control is supported for external control, and you can also control the unit via its USB port or via Ethernet at 1G speeds for faster deck control and file transfers via the RJ45 connector. An integrated LCD screen on the front panel lets you monitor the video.
