Acme Video Solutions GO Plus Portable Live Production Solution

The Acme Video Solutions GO Plus Portable Live Production Solution is a complete portable live production studio with built-in 17.3" LCD screen. Mix HD video sources, including different resolutions and frame rates, along with embedded and discrete analog audio. Stream output live to the web in RTMP, WMA, Flash and other widely supported formats. Recording high-quality program feeds is easy, while the included removable SSDs let you record media storage drives up to eight ISO channels (isolated) from the SDI inputs, allowing a producer has the ability to reassemble later.

The Windows-based switcher comes with Vmix Pro. It features an 8-port AJA HD-SDI I/O device plus a two-in/two-out XLR/TRS audio interface. The software is powered by an Intel Core i7 CPU with an NVIDIA GTX 2080 graphics card of 8 GB, 32 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SSD drive. A redundant 500 GB "failover" drive is provided in case the system fails. In addition to the built-in display, you can connect additional high-resolution displays via HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. This provides a multiview function, program monitoring and easy access to other Windows applications. The workstation includes a keyboard, mouse, replay shuttle controller and Wi-Fi dongle. For portability, the system comes with a padded transport case on wheels for easy storage and transport.

Hardware Features

Built-in screen

A built-in display provides a compact, portable on-site setup with the option to add one or two additional LCD screens via DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort for Multiviewer and other applications.

I/O cards

The GO Plus from Acme Video Solutions is equipped with eight HD-SDI inputs (two of which can be used as outputs) via an AJA capture card, allowing for up to eight live sources. You can also group four inputs for two 4K inputs. If you use the card in 4K mode, the standard resolutions 1080/720 are not available. With up to two SDI outputs you can send multiple high-resolution feeds. For example, a Live version complete with overlays for broadcast, and a "clean" version for recording and later use. You can also use one output to connect a broadcast-quality preview monitor to complement the GO's built-in screen.

Removable SSD Slots for ISO recording

No heavy platter-based drives here; the GO Plus gives you four removable SSD storage slots that allow ISO recording of all inputs when equipped with SSD drives - sold separately. When you're done, simply disconnect the drives and easily move your footage to another machine for post-production or archiving.

Media storage

For storing pre-recorded video clips, audio, graphics and more, the GO Plus features two 1TB SSDs. These can also be used for ISO recording from the SDI inputs.

Also included is a 512GB "failover" SSD. This is intended for emergency use during a live production, should the primary drive or Windows installation fail. To use this drive, one of the SSD slots must be occupied.

Balanced XLR/TRS Audio I/O

Featuring a pair of balanced XLR/TRS combo jack inputs, the switcher can pull in additional audio from professional sources, in addition to the up to 16 channels of integrated SDI audio. These inputs are accompanied by two XLR outputs for local monitoring. There's also a 3.5mm unbalanced audio input, and you can add external USB audio interfaces to increase the total number and type of inputs available.

Wi-Fi connectivity

In addition to the Ethernet port found on the 4/4 and 4/4K models, the Plus has a USB Wi-Fi adapter for extra flexibility.
