Acme Video Solutions GO 4/4K Portable Live Production Solution

The Acme Video Solutions GO 4/4K Portable Live Production Solution is a complete portable live production studio with built-in 17.3" LCD screen. Mix HD and 4K video sources, including mixed resolutions and frame rates, along with embedded and discrete analog audio. Stream output live to the web in RTMP, WMA, Flash and other widely supported formats. Recording high-quality program feeds is easy, while optional (not included) removable SSDs let you record up to eight ISO (isolated) channels from media storage drives. SDI inputs, allowing a producer the option of re-editing later.

The Windows-based switcher comes with VMIX 4K. It features a 4-port SDI I/O device, a 1-port Magewell 4K HDMI input, plus a two-in/two-out XLR/TRS audio interface. The software is powered by an Intel Core i7 CPU along with an NVIDIA GTX 2060 6GB graphics card, 16GB RAM and a 250GB SSD drive. In addition to the built-in display, you can connect additional high-resolution displays via HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. This provides multi-view functionality, program monitoring and easy access to other Windows applications. The workstation includes a keyboard and mouse for basic operation. For portability, the system comes with a padded, mobile transport case for easy storage and transport.

Hardware Features

Built-in screen

A built-in display provides a compact, portable on-site setup with the option to add one or two additional LCD displays via DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort for Multiviewer and other applications.

I/O cards

The Acme GO 4/4K features four HD-SDI inputs (two of which can be used as outputs) on an AJA capture card and a single HDMI input with 4K capabilities on a Magewell capture card, allowing for up to five live sources can be used. In addition to the 4K capabilities of the HDMI input, you can also group four SDI inputs to create another 4K input. By using two of the SDI ports as outputs, producers can send multiple high-resolution feeds. For example, a Live version complete with overlays for broadcast and a "clean" version for recording and later reuse. You can also use one output to connect a broadcast-quality preview monitor to complement the GO's built-in screen.

Removable SSD Slots for ISO recording

No heavy platter-based drives here; the GO 4/4K has four removable SSD storage slots that allow ISO recording of all inputs when fully filled—SSD drives available separately. When you're done, simply disconnect the drives and easily move your footage to another machine for post-production or archiving.

Balanced XLR/TRS Audio I/O

Featuring a pair of balanced XLR/TRS combo jack inputs, the switcher can pull in additional audio from professional sources, in addition to the up to 16 channels of integrated SDI audio. These inputs are accompanied by two XLR outputs for local monitoring. There's also a 3.5mm unbalanced audio input, and you can add external USB audio interfaces to increase the total number and type of inputs available.
