Aja’s Io Express is an input / output solution for anyone on either a Mac or PC needing monitoring and mastering whilst working in Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD, and more. Portable and simple to use, Io Express is ideal for filebased workflows.
Providing everything that’s needed for capture, monitoring and mastering, the Io Express works with a huge number of codecs. And with file based workflows it adds even more versatility as it's so easy to go straight from shoot to edit.
HD/SDi input and output, HDMI 1.3a, HD/SD Component Video out and 10-bit hardware HD to SD Downconverting is just the start of the features that the IO Express offers. Running from mains or battery, the unit is truly portable for field or studio use and available with either PCIe or Express Card connectivity going between systems is simple. The three year warranty from AJA means that even in the field you’re guarded against problems.
